Shaking up the best sips in San Diego County.

While putting together the 10th Anniversary cookbook edition of Edible San Diego, we looked at A LOT of recipes. These three cocktail recipes jumped out at us with their use of local ingredients, easy execution, and incredibly complex results. Shake them up and see if they don't become your new favorites, too.

Rosemary Negroni

This fresh take on a classic Negroni was created by Frankie Thanheld of Snake Oil Cocktail Co.

You & Yours Sunday Gin Gimlet

This zesty and refreshing cocktail is one of Laura Johnson’s favorite ways to enjoy You & Yours Sunday Gin.

The Balboa: San Diego's Answer to the Whiskey Sour

This cocktail was created by Ryan Andrews of R&D Bitters. It is a variation on a whiskey sour that uses sasaparilla bitters, local honey, and local Henebery whiskey.
