How to Make Your Own Shrub Tonics
Post-holiday season, we’re reaching for refreshing tonics made with local shrubs—sweet and tart concoctions of fruit, sugar, and vinegar that stimulate the appetite while slaking thirst.
Fill a tall glass with ice and add Nostrum Strawberry Cascara Ginger Shrub, unsweetened cranberry juice, fresh lemon juice, and top with soda water. Garnish with fresh cranberries and some thyme, if you like.
