Sip, Sample, and Party with Animals on San Diego Bay
Now in its ninth year, FARM TO BAY is a culinary celebration benefitting the Living Coast Discovery Center, a nonprofit zoo and aquarium located within a national wildlife refuge on San Diego Bay in Chula Vista.
FARM TO BAY brings together more than 30 of San Diego’s favorite restaurants, breweries, wineries and specialty purveyors to support the Living Coast’s wildlife, education, and sustainability programs during its largest fundraiser of the year.
Headlining this year’s event are chef-owner Matt Gordon of Urban Solace Restaurant Group, chef-owner Will Gustwiller of Eclipse Chocolate Bar & Bistro, and farm-to-table chef, Miguel Valdez (pictured above, clockwise from the top left).
Featured restaurant and beverage partners will include the likes of George’s at the Cove, The Fish Market/Top of the Market, Wrench & Rodent Seabasstropub, Sushi on a Roll, Loews Coronado Bay Resort, Mission Avenue Bar & Grill, Dang Brother Pizza, Big Front Door, Nomad Donuts, San Diego Convention Center, Boochcraft, Cutwater Spirits, Golden Coast Mead, Fruitcraft Fermentery & Distillery, Quigley Fine Wines, Wiens Family Cellars, 3 Punk Ales, Bay Bridge Brewery, Chula Vista Brewery, Second Chance Beer Co., among others.
The evening will also feature musical performances, live and silent auctions, and up-close animal encounters with the Living Coast Discovery Center’s beloved animal ambassadors, including endangered sea turtles, sharks, rays, hawks, eagles, owls, reptiles and more.
In keeping with the Living Coast’s commitment to the environment and sustainability, FARM TO BAY makes further strides each year to be a Zero-Waste event.
