5 Ways to Take Your Yoga Practice Outdoors in San Diego County
Although it’s convenient to do yoga at home on a daily basis, after an especially rainy spring, it’s time to take your practice outside where we San Diegans belong.
YOGA AFTER DARK EVENT
My friend Krystal runs Yoga After Dark (yes, I just friend bragged) and I often think back to her very first event at the LOT 8 in 2018. It rained, but the show went on and we all had an amazing time. Since then, the event has grown to attract hundreds of followers and there is now a monthly summer series in collaboration with Torrey Pines Gliderport.
Expect a killer playlist to compliment the season, a starry sky, and silent disco flows.

LIVE BLISSED
Another fitness friend, Sucha, partners with other experts in the wellness industry for Live Blissed events.
Expect a unique experience every time, including a unique HIIT workout + Yoga + Breathwork.

TRILOGY
Trilogy is an oldie but a goodie. If you hang with the hippie crowd in San Diego then you’ve probably already been there for a yoga class or a meal at their vegan cafe.
Expect all kinds of yoga classes from lyra to aerial on the roof with views over La Jolla. They also host bi-weekly open mics, if that’s your thing.

ZEN SOUL BALANCE
Every Tuesday from 7pm-8:15pm you can join yogi Jeny at Riffs Yoga Studios in Bird Rock for Yin Yoga under the stars.
Expect ocean breezes, lush greenery, birds singing, and infrared heaters on their beautiful redwood deck. They call it “Bali in your backyard” and all you need to bring is your yoga mat.
